Turn an amateur loose on Ebay and that's what you get. Not only did I buy the V&B Mettlach stein from the previous post but I also bought this attractive pewter stein just because it appealed to me. It still does. The inscription on the bottom says SKS with the word Zinn below it. I tend to think it's not very old since the pewter has a pretty new look to it.
