The stein must be made with a large recess in the bottom to hold the music box, and this is a rare stein, even if the music box has been replaced (although I have no opinion to offer about that). However, the stein is German through and through, and it is most likely the music is German as well (i.e., it does not have anything to do with the Skull and Crossbones society).
