Hi,
the correct name of the enterprise is "Felsenstein & Mainzer" (Simon F. & Sigmund M.). The factory was founded in 1886 and was located in Nuremberg. At first, they made only pewter products (I have one pewter stein from them standing somewhere on the shelves, I think). With the beginning of the 20th century, they started producing pottery, too (for example the famous "Nuremberg Tower stein" was made by F&M). As far as I know, the factory was closed or "swallowed" by a bigger one after WWI.
