Thank you very much for the information. I want to sell this on ebay. I think it should have a home with people who collect steins. My "Mettlach Villeroy & Boch German Beer Stein German stein--early ware produced between 1840-1889" is currently on ebay. My I use the information you have given me in my description on ebay? Should I research it further before I put it on ebay? I have two more left to find out where they came from. I got all for in Germany.
