Hi Jody I think you have a coulpe of items mixed up. The Girmscheid piece was 1/2 liter stein with a scene from the Trumpter of Sackingen and it had a DRGM number that had been issued to Girmscheid for a method of producing hollow bases such as you would put a music box into. The other item was for a large ewer I believe that had an enclosed base with a hole in the middle that allowed trapped air to escape during the firing process without blowing the base apart. John
