'GK' are the initials of a designer that worked mostly for Matthias Girmscheid company. I've heard rumors of what GK stands for, but nobody has offered positive proof, so GK's name is a mystery. The "Gruss aus Koln" translates to "Greetings from Cologne" a city of west-central Germany (I think). Odds are its a Girmscheid.
