Good morning John. Thanks for the reply...I think. I can function in three languages, however, unfortunatly for me, the German language is not one of them. I may have picked up some tidbit of info from the text. Am I correct in surmising that, 1- Von Kauffengen was a living human being and not a fictitious character? The main heading having the dates "1443-1455". 2- A tragedy occured in or around July 14, 1455 (his death?). 3- Did he die in the Princeship of Altenberg in 1455? May I impose on you by asking you if I am on the right track, I doubt that an English version is available on historic/Legendary German characters. Thank you for your time John. Regards Tony B
