WEKARA, among other things, was a distributor of Mettlach wares, and it's not at all unusual to see a WEKARA base mark right next to a Mettlach mark. Finding a Mettlach piece with no Mettlach mark (with or without WEKARA) is a fairly rare occurrance, but hardly unheard of. I'm not familiar with a Mettlach form #3482, but I suspect it's likely that you could get a positive identification (one way or the other) by posting a few photos, including one of the base markings.
