This series was issued by American Express in 1986 at a price of $150 and an edition of 10,000 each. Most collectors seem to value them for their decorative purposes. There may be some increased value to having the entire set together, but I have never heard of anyone placing a value on the original boxes. These are not "hot" collectibles, and if it were me, I would be very satisfied to get the original purchase price out of them.
