Hi. I picked up a Stein at an estate sale last weekend and was wondering if anyone could give me some kind of History on it. I think it might be an older one as the man had spent some time in Germany during WWII. On the other hand it just might be a cheap reproduction. To me, it appears to be made on a potters wheel as the bottom and inside bottom are not smooth like a lot of the Steins one can buy commercially. There are no id marks from german potters either I liked it because of the Hunting Theme. It has a Squirrel on the handle. No Lid, A Hirsch , Hunter, and Reeh Buck. It is 10" tall and the base is 6" across. Weight is 3lbs 3 oz. Very light weight for the size. I have 4 pictures of it at the following web address' users.pghconnect.com/reba703/stein0001.jpg users.pghconnect.com/reba703/stein0002.jpg users.pghconnect.com/reba703/stein0003.jpg users.pghconnect.com/reba703/stein0004.jpg
