Hello, Stein collectors! I recently found a German beer stein at my grandma's house. So far the research tells me that it is a Marzi and Remy (Hohr). It was made in 1905 in Germany and even has another number on the bottom 98. It seems to tell a story. There are two men sitting at a table and one of them is holding hands with a woman that is standing up, it is very colorful. It has a pewter lid with designs. As for the material it is made out of, I really don't know. Some kind of glass, pottery, or porcelain. The bottom edges are slightly rough. It is a 1/4 liter. It has words on both sides that say "Ein froher Sinn." The other side says,"bringt viel Gewinn." If anyone knows anything about this stein please help me. Does anyone have an estimate? Thanks for your time.

Fred
