What makes you think the stein was made in 1905? If it is because there is a 1905 on the bottom of the stein, that is a mold/decoration number, not a date.
It would be impossible to tell you much about your stein without pictures. The closest I can come is that Marzi & Remy put out a series of steins varously marked 1904, 1906, etc. These were made in the 1920s/30s and are only worth about $10.00 each.
Pictures would be helpful.
