Came across a stein at a flea market that appeared to be a Westerwald (was told this) but the pewter lid had a large 1874 engraved in it. The coler was the cobalt blue/white glaze. The pewter had not been touched and the rim had a small crack. The price was $60. Do you think this could be authentic and would the price be a good value? I know this is a bit general but trying to get an idea if I passed up a decnet stein. Chuck
