Hi Chuck, A photo would sure help. However I am assuming this is a half liter typical Westerwald stein. If the date on the lid is accurate and there is no guarantee that it is, the stein would have probably been made by either R. Hanke, S.P. Gerz, or Merkelbach & Wick. However, $60 is a bit much for a stein with a crack in the rim, regardless.
