40%?! Argh, that's quite a lot. Well, I tried hard to get the lid. The problem is that it must have a "nose" (I don't know the English word for that) at the front, and this, together with the size, makes it extremly difficult. But considering the high loss of value, I will continue searching. By the way, I don't live in Munich, but in Günzburg, a small city of about 20.000 inhabitants some 60 miles west. So, in case I find a lid, it will probably not be the one designed for the stein. How does this affect the value then?
