my husband has a 1/2L stein with no top. There is a crest on the front in blue and yellow with a diagonal line. In the blue is the letter M and in the yellow possibly an "I" on its side, with an "A" below it. Above the crest are the words "Kegelklub Olex" (I think its an O) Beneath the crest is the word "Plaat". On the bottom of the mug is a large capital A with a G inside it with the letters WW underneath. (Scanning articles have found WickWerk). Handwritten name and address in black (looks to be German written) says Gustav Vater Werden, by Koln,Bahnstr. 35. The ink has not faded. Also a stamped number - 62. Can anyone give me information about this mug? Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera to send a photo.
