would like  info on an all pewter regimental stein

I have an old stein. I am pretty sure it is a regimental stein. The thumblift has an eagle on it. An eagle is also on the front of the stein with alot of detail. engraven on the lid it says "Dem besten Schatzer Grenadier Sommer 4/110". Can anyone help me with more info on the history and value of this stein.
