I was stationed at Bitburg AB, Germany in 1985 when President Reagan visited to lay a wreath on the grave of the "unknown soldier". The 36th Tactical Fighter Wing sold commemorative beer steins in recognition of the event.I do not have an available photo, but the words read: President Ronald Reagan's Visit to Bitburg home of 36th Tactical Fighter Wing and Bitburger Pils 5 May 1985. It also has crossed flags, Old Glory and the Doetch flag. On the bottom is written: Limited issue of 10,000. I heard through rumors that this stein was selling in Bitburg for several hundred dollars. Can anyone tell me if this stein really has any value?
