Hi Eric, Well you are both correct, it is MW, or as I call them MWG. All of the HR steins in ivory stoneware. or fine stoneware, or pottery, or what ever you call it, with the "type 3" HR logo as seen in my postings yesterday, were made for HR by MWG. You need to buy my CD, "HR and the Freising Factory Revisited" and reference it, rather than Kirsner's latest "Beer Stein Book."
