Hello, recently I bought a Mettlach stein after I received info from the nice experts of this forum that it was a Mettlach and that it should show 2 numbers on the bottom #3343/548 (form/decoration). My stein only has one number( 3343) plus the number 16 and a 11 and a bunch of other marks .
I have bought the stein ....but because of unforseen circumstances I need to sell it again.
I want to give an accurate and honest description when I put it up for auction and that is why I want to be 100% sure that this is not a fake stein. I have included a picture of the bottom so, my question to you is again....is it real? even if not both the numbers are on?
and is Ebay the most suitable place to offer this stein for sale?
