Hello Frank, thank you very much for the information! I had thought that the first one might be Thewalt, but I looking at the "A" from every angle and various light, I could not see any trace of the vertical "T" line.. so, I figured it was simply just an "A" since the "/\" parts of the "A" are clearly incised.
For the second stein, I have seen other steins with similar colors, was that color combination from a certain area, or generally popular during a time period?
