On another similar subject, did manufacturer's usually place their form numbers (when they applied them) in the same area? Or did these change as well? On one of my steins is a very small three-digit number near the bottom/right of the handle, is this a place where numbers are placed often? I have mostly seen them on the bottom of the stein or under the handle...
