Funny, I was thinking the other day, if (when) I die, I want someone who really appreciates steins to have mine. Anyway, you will have no luck in your library; I know because I have looked in different libraries and there is nothing. If you look on Amazon, you will find Gary Kirsner's book, which I have not yet seen but everyone says is the best resource. Another thing you could do is find an SCI member near you, as suggested before, who might meet with you, have a look at your steins, and give you an idea what at least some of them are worth. I would think most stein enthusiasts would love this job. I guess I am not saying anything new (the photos idea is good too), but I am underscoring the importance of getting steins to appreciative new owners.
