Without pictures, about the only information I can provide is regarding the mark. SEIT 1862 (SINCE 1862) refers to the year Gerz began making steins. This mark was used at the end of WWll. Your stein would be considered Modern/Contemporary.
You might want to check ebay. Gerz steins are quite common on ebay, many with this mark. In general, your stein would have modest value.
