I have the exact same stein. I have been able to translate a few words which basically state that they are a limted production or release. That's all I have been able to find out. I know their original value was about $ 250.00.
Mine has the same painting but a bird on a cross bow in pewter. I searched google but can't read German and haven't been able to get far. Have you.
