It could be called Rumtoph, Weine Bowle, Punschbowle (Punch bowl) to name a few. Your description on ebay looks to be accurate. It could be 1940's-50 or earlier (maybe 30's?) hard to tell for certain. Your opening bid is very reasonable and it should get some looks.
