I am looking for info on this stein. It has the Thewalt trademark stamped in the tbootom. Also on the bottom it has a number 4, 1 ltr, and stamped and inked Western Germany. The relief work has a man with his rifle following a woman carrying a basket. The inscription says "Im Wald und auf der Haide" on one side and "Da such ich meine Freude" on the other side. There is a 1204 marked on the tree trunk near the handle. The lid is pewter and has another trademark on the inside with the letter DBGM above it and a 76 marked in it also. The tag is still attached and calls this stein a "Genuine Old German Beerstein"
Does anyone know any more about it or another good place to find info on it? Im also wondering about its possible value. It appears to be in mint condition and I know that it had hardly seen the light of day for over 20 years, and was probably put into "storage" (box) for many years before that.
