This should be transcribed as "Maass und Ziel ist das beste Spiel". Translating it is a little more difficult. I believe "Maass" is an archaic spelling of "Mass", a one-liter serving of beer. "Ziel" is resisting my attempts at a direct translation, but I believe the verse means something along the lines of "A full beer and a purpose(?) is the best play."
