I just purchased an interesting stein that I am hoping to get some history about. It is primarily brown with top and bottom cobalt blue. The scene is very ornate showing 3 hunters attacking a boar along with 3 dogs. There is one hunter wearing a sword who is blowng a horn or bugle. The hunters appear to be spearing the boar. The unique part is the "Fox" or "Wolf" handle. The strap of the handle is attached to the animal's right arm. The bottom is stamped with the Gerz triangular stamp and the Made in Germany. I looked through the Stein Book by Kirsner and the SCI library but no examples. Any help on this one? Any value to it?
