stein mark identification

Today I bought an inexpensive 0.5L stein with a relief of a sitting couple in excellent detail and a rosette-type design on either side of the couple. They are not painted (cream-colored figures), and the background is green. The handle is plain (not like a girmsheid handle). My question really is regarding the mark. it is a six-pointed star (not a potters guild mark, or "Star of David"), with nothing in it. I cannot find it in Les Hopper's supplement to Prosit. Any ideas?
