I came across this discussion while surfing for info on my lovely plate I found.Can you tell me anything about it? It's a 12 inch plate with a beautiful winter scene. Snow heavy trees and a clearing with caraibu? or deer and a nice sunset back ground. I would not have thought this plate was old by looking. It is perfect, with NO sign of ware or age on the front.When I rolled it over I noticed a signifigant amout of natural crazing and a lovely old "Villeroy & Boch" mark that also says below "Wallerfagen". I already know that Wallerfagen stopped production in 1931 but how would I go about getting more specific as to when my plate was actually made? It's #ed 25 48D.Are there any records available anywhere? Thanks for your time, Christine
