Hi. Did you find anything out about your stein? The links to your photos don't work now, but it sounds like one I have. How did you know it was the Gooseman? It's taken me years to find out. A half liter stein (a jester is the handle, dressed in black and red) recently sold at an auction for $325. The original statue is behind the police station in Nurnberg and is about 2 feet tall. The stein is known as "The Trickster" and the funnel is supposed to pour knowledge into the brain... Dec. 10, 2004
