Hello,
I have my Grandmother's antique stein...it seems to be commemorating some war or battle from 1898-1900 One side has infantry resting and the other is a battle scene it looks to be hand painted...with a metal top...Hans or Johan Emmert or Albert N. Snrhsen?? may be the designers??? The lettering is old and fancy so it is hard to make out the letters.....
One side seems to say: Hock Die Tapfre Infantry Posten Spat u. Fruz!
The otherside seems to say: Jn Des Gefechtes Mitke Ftehn Mir Roie Mauern Fest Fur Deutschland Ruhm u. Ehkre fur Zaderland und Furst.
The metal top I think says: Efs Lebe Horh Das Regt. Das Lirh Mst Stolzfonig
It has bright beautiful colors...I would like to ebay it but have no idea what its worth is.....any ideas???????????
