I have a very plain stein with the Villeroy & Boch/Mettlach mercury mark on it. It appears to be numbered 2216. From what I've read on your site, maybe made in 1920-something? It wouldn't surprise me if one of my relatives didn't haul it home from a German pub, LOL. I've had it since I stole it from my grandmother's house (with her permission) about 30 years ago. Can anyone give me a value based on that number? I *think* it is 2216, it appears it was stamped unevenly and it's hard to tell for sure. I can try to figure out how to post a photo or two if necessary. Thanks so much!
