John, the frog in the stein you provided the link to actually has a different frog than those I was referring in my previous post. Also, it has lid. (That's 2 X's.) But here's a positive for you -- the stein shown (which I happen to have except for frog and lid is different) was manufactured by Marzi & Remy. The number series fits in with M&R also. Mine is also marked "B&C."
