I have sent the following email to the seller -
Dear “estateauction2000”,
This auction listing is either purposefully fraudulent or extraordinarily ignorant, you may take your pick.
The word “Guarantie” (which you represent to be the artist/designer “GARANTI”) means “guarantee”. The fact that this is a limited edition stein ensures that it was manufactured post World War II. The dates on the front of the stein (1835-1918) refer to the history of Bavaria leading up to the World War I, and have no significance whatsoever to the date of manufacture. WW-Team was founded in 1985, a mere 20 years ago. While this stein is conceivably 20 years old, your statement that you bought it for $375 65 years ago is blatant misrepresentation.
I ask that you post this “question” to your ebay listing so that all who view your listing can read it along with your response.
