I am certain that it frustrates the living daylights out of most of the regulars on this board that there are SOOOOOOO Many posts asking for help with an ID without photos. I have only IDed one stein on this board, but I was able to help because the person asking for assistance provided good clear photos of every side of the stein including the bottom. I hate to be a nagging female, but if you want help, you must take the first step. Here's my 2 cents for getting the help you need. 1) Take good quality photos of each panel and the bottom of the stein in question. Even if the bottom is unmarked sometime the finish can help to determine maker. 2) Do not overcrop your photo but also do not leave it so big that it takes forever for the photo to load. A good size is about 300kb or 2 inch by 2 inch (most photo editing software will allow you to re-size photos in at least 2 formats) 3)Give all the information you can about the stein you would like help with. Any marks, words (even in a different language) height, material it is made of and anything else you feel may be significant. 4) Make certain to return to this board to check for responses every onece in a while and make sure to Thank those who have taken the time to poor through their books looking for your one stein. No one is compensated for helping you, so a polite Thank you would be nice no matter what you are told - good or bad. Ignorance is NEVER Bliss it just multiplies. I may be stepping on a toe or two - please forgive me if I am - no harm is meant. I have found this board to quite entertaining and extremely informative. Thanks every one for letting me say my peace. Hope you all had a nice night watching the game!
