The mark appears to be that of Merkelbach & Wick of Grenzhausen (a fancy MWG monogram) and it would be pre 1921. The style puts it about 1900 or a bit later. There is one other posibility and the would be Jacob Goldschmidt of Nuremberg (a simple JNG in a divided circle) that would also be ca. 1900 and the manufacturer would probably be Marzi-Remy as Goldschmidt only applied the pewter.
