Hi all- I was able to obtain Elisabeth Liegl's phone number. My mother and I called her this morning (since my mother is German and could speak with her). She was quite friendly and talkative. She said that she used to have a large shop with 22 employees, and now she has downsized to a very small business (her niece answered the phone). She stopped handpainting steins about 25-30 years ago, and did not have any ideas on how to find those steins. In any case, she told us that if I faxed her my address, she would send me a catalogue; I don't know if will be simply a listing or whether there will be photos. I will post something here on SteinTalk when I receive it! I also asked my mother to ask Mrs. Liegl to send me any further information on her shop, but I am not sure she will remember to do this.
