From what I can find, I think this stein is an occupational pewter stein. I had a friend translate the words on the stein, "Where is my dear Marie?" and "J. Kuhnemann Master Roofer". But I shur like to know what you all think. The stein is approx. 18 1/4" tall and the base is 7 1/2" round, the hinge needs to be fixed and there are some dent & dings, also one spire on top is missing.
