Hello all. I'm hoping someone might be able to help me identify this stein and possibly its approx date. It's more of a cylindrical stein, not conical in shape. The pewter lid is different than any other of my steins, as it is not pointed, but rather snubbed. It has a capacity mark that reads 0.3L. On the bottom is what appears to be an old Gerz mark from c.1900 (according to "The Beer Stein Book"), though I am not positive of whether it is a Gerz mark or a maybe even a Thewalt. The triangle is quite faint. Also on the bottom is the number 479 above the capital letter B. Anyone know what these are? Here is a link to four pictures - http://www.geocities.com/therantt/Stein02.html Each picture is clickable for a larger version. Any help will be greatly appreciated. If an approximate valuation can be made, that would be great as well, but I'm not really concerned about the value, as I was fortunate enough to find it at a sale for only $15. I look forward to your help. Thanks.
