Hello all. I have a stein that I recently found at a "junk sale." It caught my eye because the only steins I usually find at such sales are modern relief steins. The lid to this particular stein has considerable damage. The finial has been mashed down into the lid (If anyone has advice on how to fix this, I'd appreciate it). The handle also looks to have been repaired. But when they said they didn't know anything about it, and only wanted 5 bucks, I couldn't resist. I have three photos at http://www.geocities.com/therantt/stein03.html On the bottom of the stein I can barely see what appears to be the capital letters SCH above the capital letters E,D, an indistinguishable letter/figure, and either a G or C. The marking is hard to see and wouldn't turn up in a photo. If anyone can help with an ID and possible date on this stein, I really appreciate it. Thanks.
