I recently acquired a pottery plate with the Marzi & Remy (1890-1964) mark on it and the numbers 22 and 5618. It is identical in color and style to the M&R steins in cobalt blue, tan and light brown. The middle of the plate shows 3 men and two women apparently sitting in a pub and around the perimiter of the plate are the crests (coats of arms) of the provinces of the Netherlands, with the biggest one being Braden. Is it possible that the M&R factory produced plates too and that they would have made them for the Belgian market?
Thank you for your assistance.
