I have seen many steins with the Reinhold Merkelbach mark, and the Merkelbach & Wick mark, but only one with a Karl Merkelbach mark (an 'M' with 'Schilz' under it). The mark is on page 11 of Les Hoppers Beer Stein Marks Book. Does anyone know the years this mark was used ('M' with 'Schilz'), and how long steins were produced? (was this before or after Reinhold Mekelbach and Merkelbach & Wick)? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
