Hi Pete, L. Ostermayr is one of a group of outlets, or distributers in Nuremberg that purchased stein bodies from factories such as Marzi-Remy, Merkelbach & Wick, Hauber & Reuther and others, then applied the pewter, selling the pieces through their outlets. Other outlet/distributers were: Theodor Wieseler, Felsenstein & Mainzer, Jacob Goldschmidt and A. Wahnschaffe, all from Nuremberg.
