I have a stein which has an open hinge-5 ring design. The hinge is very tight. It will open and close but seems to be binding and I am afraid that the center ring might give away like I've seen on so many other steins. My question is: How do you relieve the binding? I've read that oil and the like should not be used. Thanks for any help on this one!
