I've never seen any military collectables in the Deutches Museum in Munich, so in my opinion it's rather doubtful they would agree to display your Schweres Reiter regimental stein. On the other hand, the Bavarian Army Museum in Ingolstadt might have an interest. The director of that museum, Dr. Ernst Aichner, is a regimental stein collector himself.
