Your stein was made by the firm of Dümler and Breiden around 1895. The central image depicts Falstaff and Bardolph, and is taken from a painting by Eduard von Grützner (1846-1925). The artist of the firm, Peter Dümler, is almost certainly responsible for the design, and a close examination may even reveal his "PD" signature. Early D&B steins rank among the finest ever produced by Westerwald potters, but because they're rarely marked, they haven't generated collector interest comparable to some of the more well-known (and easier to identify) manufacturers. Consequently, an optimistic auction spread for a mint example of this beautiful piece would be only $150-$200.
