A quick reality check. Not all fake Reservist steins have bumps in the handle. The newer ones don't. The thumblift is Bavarian as is the unit. However it was the practice to decorate the upper and lower decorative bands with the state colors, in this case blue and white (Bavaria) not red and orange (?) There is always something about these repros that is intentionally wrong so the responsibility falls to the buyer to know what they are doing. Buyer beware!
