Prosit went into the mail on the 18th or 19th of December, and members began reporting receipt on the following Monday (22 December). The period between that date and your receiving your own copy shows the variability of the postal service, particularly during a period of peak mail volume and mail disruption due to extreme weather conditions experienced in many areas. In addition, this issue was about three weeks late getting to the printer due partly to some personal difficulties, and partly to the unexpected resignation of the editor as the issue was being produced. My objective is to have each issue in the mail during the last week of the prior month in order that it be delivered in the first week of the month.
